This submission for the Project Rainbow Competition was prepared by Lucien Lagrange Architects.
The brief called for 200,000 square meters (approx. 2 million square feet) of multi-use space located off of Lansdowne Street where it intersects Shelbourne in Dublin where the Jury's Hotel currently stands. The LLA proposal included retail at the base, hotel and office space above, with three high rise residential towers arrayed along a curving street beneath which parking for 1800 cars is provided. The programmed spaces are arranged to carve out a dramatic central courtyard.
